Our Idea and Vision Behind Boom Base
At Boom Base, it's about more than just learning dance steps. Our vision is to create a space where creative minds come together to produce stunning stage shows and impressive video projects.
Every dancer's personal growth is at the heart of what we do, whether that means learning new styles, making new friends, or developing valuable soft skills that matter far beyond the dance floor.
In a time when social media and digital life dominate our days, we offer a place to focus fully on yourself. Our classes build mental strength as well as physical skills: taking on challenges, growing beyond yourself and finding a healthy balance to the busy everyday.
Our mission is to train dancers and create amazing shows together with them. We place special value on strengthening Munich's dance community and encouraging exchange between different dance styles. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, there's a place for you here and plenty of room to grow.

Choreography & Production

BOOM BASE is more than a dance studio, a creative home for everything to do with dance entertainment, from the first idea to the finished stage show.
We cast the right dancers, develop individual choreography, and support every production from rehearsal to final performance. Our studio is also available as a location for your own castings and rehearsals.
With Boom Company, we also have a young, talented dance company led by Melanie van den Boom, available for booking for shows and events.

Welcome, we’re Melanie and Fabian, the owners of Boom Base.
We’re connected by our passion for dance and the idea of passing it on, inspiring people, and giving them the space and opportunity to grow beyond themselves and learn to dance.
Over the years we’ve built several ventures: our Shuffle Dance community "Shuffle Dance Munich" with online classes & workshops, our own intensive courses like "Performance Technique", and numerous video projects as videographers.
